"Please, enjoy...." says Villa Waru's gourmet chef, Wayan, as she serves you her wonderful cuisine. These words also capture Wayan's passion of making and serving food since she was young. She has trained in Food and Beverage and through practical and loving application of her talent; she has honed a skill for which she is justifiably renown.
Bali is blessed with many wonderful restaurants of all cuisines and styles and many are within easy drive of the Villa. Yet some guests have not visited these well-reviewed eating spots, because they have found themselves seduced by Wayan's culinary creativity and the ease of dining in such delicious surrounds.
Wayan will happily craft menus for your stay using the finest available ingredients, providing for specific requests such as vegetarian or macrobiotic foods and using the organic vegetables that are becoming increasingly available from the local markets. She can provide you with a variety of choices from Indonesian and Western menus and also create sumptuous dinners for up to fourteen guests. Wayan's English is very good and menu creations, like her cakes are part of the delight of staying at Villa Waru.
With
24-hour's notice, Wayan can meet requests for culinary specialties for
candle-lit dinners, seafood buffet and anything in between. For large families
and group parties, she can co-ordinate with you to arrange for catering
service.
With organic produce readily available, Wayan is expert at providing tempting and healthy food for children, fussy eaters do not faze her, don't be afraid to ask.
